to have or to have not: HIV in your veins
i met an ol' friend of mine. he told me that he was relief to know that he was HIV-free, thought that has been haunted him for the last two years. he saw his friends got sick, so sick that they rather be dead than alive. he learned that his friends were HIV positive. and my friend, he shared needles with them a few years back. he got tattoo too. that was another story. so everytime he got a cold, he thought "this is it".
he stopped when he was nearly dead of overdose. slept over his own vomit and shit on the corner of the room. he knew that he should stop. he didn't like the feeling. but that was not all he got. he has to struggle with dope-sickness for three days, filled with pain.
getting an HIV, on his view is not the end. we are all gonna die anyway. but rather adds your load more: you have the responsibility to keep the virus for yourself. you have to told everyone you know, regardless of how they would see you after then.
so much for getting high, eh..? :-)
